4th and Goal moves to Prime Time on Chocolate Radio

Hey Chocolate Lovers!!! Your favorite Man cave sports show 4th and Goal hosted by Lexington Steele with John E Depth and Andre Lavelle are moving to the prime time spot 7pm pst, starting tomorrow 9/23/14. That spot was just recently a home to Nyomi Banxxx of Chocolate Radio "The Live Show". Banxxx says, I found my plate overflowing at times, with running the stations day to day activities and preparing for my shows. I thought it would be best for me to cut a day out. I mention it to Lex about starting his show early and he was all in agreeing". Steele saying, I'm pumped about the move, My team, John E and Andre feel its a great move for an earlier time slot. Knowing that a lot of our listeners are on the East Coast they will LOVE IT"!

Chocolate Radio "On The Streets" 3rd Annual Female Hip Hop Honors Awards

Hello Chocolate Radio Lovers! This past weekend had the honor to be in the presence of some of hip hop greatest female mc's/ pioneers and future stars.

Big E and myself took a long drive to San Pedro Cal, where the 3rd Annual Female Hip Hop Honors Award show was held. We covered the red carpet interviews for our new segment on Chocolate Radio The Live Show "On The Streets".  Let me be honest when I say this, I've never been on this side of the red carpet. Next time note to self, no 5 inch heels! I give it up to all those media peeps that have endure that side! Shhhhs!

So in saying that Big E took the lead in interviews on this day, and I must say I was a little envied by it, but as well as happen because Chocolate Radio was there!

Event: 3rd Annual Female Hip Hop Honors Award Show created by UNDERGROUND GIRLS OF HIP HOP , and premiered live on Prime TV Network. This show was created to give honor to women in the Hip Hop industry that have been  forgotten and overlooked. This was a way to show that their hard work and determination will go unrewarded.

When I first heard about it, I was too excited! Then just to hear who they were Honoring this year! Oaktown 357, Da Brat, and Michelle' just to name a few. I extremely happy that I can get the meer chance to interview some of my favorites! Did I mention "A Freak like Me" herself Ms. Adina Howard was in the building. Yes! Yes! Yes!

But I must be honest even though we got some great interviews, I didn't get to see the likes of Da'Brat and Oaktown 357. But I heard they did their thing! I wish the continuous success to Underground Girls of Hip Hop as the continue on in Honoring Female MC's

KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN LAUNCHED

Good Morning! 12:01 am  this morning Chocolate Radio Officially launched its "The Next Level" Kickstarter Campaign, it ends 10/10/14.

Chocolate Radio is the brainchild of Nyomi Banxxx, having spent 3 yrs on Sirius Nyomi took her talents elsewhere and April of this year launched Chocolate Radio.net a full in-studio station, where you can see and hear live guest and shows. Nyomi funded the entire station with build-ins, equipment, furniture and software. Not to mention having to help finish the building  the walls, She defiantly got her hands dirty!

Now 5 months in Chocolate Radio has defiantly grown in number viewers, but we want the quality of the studio to grow as well. That's why Nyomi and the Rest of the Chocolate Radio Family collectively came together with "The Next Level" Campaign on kickstarter.









Chocolate Radio is looking to raise $30,000 to be use as follows

• Top of the line sound equipment to bring listeners something bigger and better.
• A new phone system to allow listeners to hear and be heard, with the cleanest and clearest reception possible
• Cameras to allow our audience to not only listen, but also see live radio on the air via Ustream.tv
• Software updates for both of our media outlets, Live365 and Ustream.tv
• Build and Upgrade, totally new, interactive website, which will be easy to follow and wonderful to navigate.
• Maintain studio space

In addition to our tech upgrades, we also intend to upgrade how Chocolate Radio operates and performs. To that end, we need your help to allow us to bring on the best PR/marketing firm we know to cater to our station's need and to help promote the station and all of its shows and events.

Remember these are all pledges that needed to make our goal, now if we don't make our goal then no money lost on your part, but if we do, you'll be part of a transition in people lives like never before. You'll be apart of a team of positive, good spirited, hard working and talented group of people. As well as get some real cool and sexy gifts!
